Robin takes her illustrating techniques and applies them to teaching. She has taught art for over 15 years, to ages ranging from 7 – 80 years plus.
Robin has taught at many elementary schools throughout Waterloo region and in the surrounding areas. Using an enthusiastic approach, Robin captivates her audience with easy to follow techniques, allowing the creative flow of energy to enhance the room. This dynamic twist on learning to draw is not only inspiring to the students, but also gives them the essential tools for drawing, which will last them a lifetime.
Robin has given workshops at Kitchener's KOR Gallery & Studios, The Waterloo Children’s Museum, Bingeman’s Summer Camps, and several local community and summer camp centers. Robin also offers private lessons from her studio at home.

Art Workshops: Elementary Schools
What you will learn: Some choices for art lessons are: cartooning faces, bodies, movement, hands, feet, background, animals, objects, abstract fun, or anything else that relates to what the kids are learning at school at that time. These techniques are very helpful in the future of their work.Each segment is a one hour class; so, for example, faces would be an hour class.
How many per class: 15- 35 children per sitting.
Different Levels: Grades 2 –8. Each grade is taught at a different levels of learning, so all techniques and methods are adjusted to the appropriate age group.
Supplies Needed: 8x10 white typing paper, 4 large sheets of white paper for the instructor, black fine tip markers if available. (pencils are fine, if markers are unavailable.)
Price: Call for rates. Teachers may book as many sessions as they need.

Supplies Needed: 8x10 white typing paper, pencils and erasers.

Private Lessons
Robin gives private and semi-private lessons from her studio at home. All ages are welcome, as long as students have the desire to learn.Time frame: 6 weeks, one hour session per week.
